Money can´t buy happiness but it can buy lipstick!

¡Hola chicas!

Hi guys!!

Last Saturday I picked up two new lipsticks from Boots (along with a Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil in black and the new face powder by Collection 2000, the Lasting Perfection compact powder... we´ll see how they go!).

I really wanted to try these two babies for so long: the Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutter in the shade Berry Smoothie and the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in #107.

The Revlon ColorBurst Lipbutters (7€, currently on offer!) have been in the market for a while, so you may know already what they are. These lipbutters are sheer but very pigmented, some of them are as pigmented as traditional lipsticks. They feel very lightweight on the lips, almost like a balm. They don´t last on your lips for hours though, but they are easy to retouch.

I picked up the shade Berry Smoothie: a really natural looking medium pink with pink shimmer. Gorgeous!!!

The Rimmel lipstick (5,99€) is from the Kate Moss Matte lipsticks range. I don´t have anything like this in my collection so I couldn´t resist!! It´s a deep wine shade, perfect for the winter, and althought is a matte formula, it feels velvety on the lips and no drying at all.

Do you own any of these lipsticks?

  2. Hi Padme! I recently discovered the Revlon Lip Butters, I really like them! The texture feels amazing on my lips, the only thing I don't like is that most colors are too sheer to show up on my lips!

    1. Agree!! They look very dark and intense when you try them on your hand but on the lips they don´t show up that much!! The texture is amazing though.
