Últimamente habéis visto por aquí muchos looks naturales, pero hoy traigo algo un poco más cañero, inspirado en los colores del otoño y para el cual he usado un pigmento duocromo de MAC.

Today I recreated a look using all the products included in The Bronze of Champions makeup kit by Benefit. Do you wanna know how I used them? Keep reading! :)

Ojos: 

Comencé aplicando la prebase de Nars por todo el párpado. A continuación, apliqué la sombra en crema de Benefit Bikini-tini, insistiendo en el lagrimal, y la sombra en polvo de Benefit Thanks a latte en los dos tercios restantes del ojo.

En la waterline llevo un lápiz nude (el Scandaleyes de Rimmel) y delineando, una sombra marrón mate de Bobbi Brown, la Espresso. Terminé el look de ojos con un par de capas de la máscara de Benefit They´re Real.

Eyes:

I started of applying the Nars eyeshadow base all over the lid. On top of that, I applied Benefit Bikini-tini creaseless eyeshadow, focusing in the inner corner, and Benefit Thanks a latte eyeshadow in the other 2/3 of the eyelid. 

Then, I applied a nude eyeliner on the waterline (Rimmel Scandaleyes) and a dark brown matte eyeshadow as a liner (Bobbi Brown Espresso). I finished off the eyes applying Benefit They´re Real mascara.

Rostro y labios:

Como base usé la CC cream de Anne Möller, el corrector Mineralize de MAC en las ojeras y los polvos de Collection Lasting Perfection Powder para sellar todo. Antes de los polvos, apliqué el iluminador de Benefit Whatt´s up en lo alto de los pómulos.

Para dar color al rostro, usé los polvos bronceadores de Benefit Hoola, y un toque de colorete Luster de Nars en las mejillas. En los labios llevo el gloss de Benefit Hoola, que resulta súper natural y muy cómodo de llevar, ya que estos glosses no resultan nada pegajosos.

Face and lips: 

On the face I´m wearing a CC cream by Anne Möller, MAC Mineralize Concealer under the eyes and the Collection Lasting Perfection Powder on top. On the top of my cheeks I applied Benefit Whatt´s up highlighter before the powder.

I used Benefit Hoola bronzerto warm up my face and a touch of Nars Luster as a blush. For the lips, I used Benefit Hoola lipgloss, which is a really nice natural shade. The consistency of these lipglosses is amazing, they´re not sticky at all!!

Look: Flamingo

El labial Flamingo (un precioso rosa coral muy suave, perfecto para una tarde de verano), causó una revolución en el mundo "bellecil" el año pasado. Salió a la venta como parte de la colección Iris Apfel y, este año, MAC lo ha vuelto a sacar a la venta con la colección All about Orange. Está agotado en muchos sitios, así que si queréis conseguirlo, ¡os aconsejo que os deis prisa!

It was released with the Iris Apfel collection and this year MAC repromoted it with the All about Orange collection. Éste es uno de los looks que llevo más a menudo: combina mi pigmento favorito de MAC con un delineado suave. Es muy fácil de realizar y queda genial tanto con labios nude o más potentes.

Last weekend I realised that I haven´t used in a while the Intriguing Scarlet palette by MAC. This palette came out with their Christmas collection a few years ago and it has the most lovely combination of autumn-y colours.

This is the look and down below you can find the products used:

OJOS // EYES

• Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base
• MAC Intriguing Scarlet Palette: Sweetjoy e/s, Warm Suede e/s, Gentle Heat e/s, Gran Entrance e/s
• MAC Charcoal Brown

He aplicado Warm Suede (el tono verde-dorado) por todo el párpado, Grand Entrance (la sombra verde oscura con shimmer) en la esquina exterior y también delineando las pestañas superiores e inferiores, Gentle Heat (la marroncita mate) en la cuenca del ojo, ayudando a difuminar los bordes, y Sweetjoy (la sombra clarita) como iluminador.

I´m applied Warm Suede (the gold-ish green) all over the lid, Gran Entrance (the dark green with shimmer) in the outer corner and also on the top and lower lashline, Gentle Heat (the neutral light brown) in the crease, blending everything out, and Sweetjoy (the matte light shade) as a highlight colour.

Look: "Dead Snow White" (Halloween)

En el post de hoy os voy a enseñar el maquillaje que he llevado este finde de Halloween para acompañar mi vestido de Blancanieves. En realidad es algo muy simple y que se puede llevar en cualquier ocasión (ojos neutrales y labios rojos), pero por supuesto también le añadí un poco de sangre falsa, ¡jaja!

¡Hola chicas!

A veces el clásico look "cat-eye" es algo complicado de realizar en ojos con el párpado caído, pero no imposible, sólo hay que encontrar la técnica adecuada. El típico eyeliner con rabillo suele empezar más fino y engrosarse progresivamente, pero en mi caso, debo de realizar una línea uniforme, algo más gruesa al final.

Aviso, ¡hay un montón de fotos! :)

Sometimes the "cat-eye" look is tricky to achieve if we have hooded eyes, but not impossible. The typical winged liner starts thinner and gets thicker as it goes, but we should go for a uniform line instead, slightly thicker at the end.

Me gusta mucho llevar este tipo de maquillaje: sombras neutras en el párpado, y un color más atrevido y vibrante delineando las pestañas inferiores. Me parece una forma diferente y divertida de llevar algo de color.

Nars Essentials (haul + mini review)

"Gastos de envío gratuitos" es mi frase favorita, y hace que no me pueda resistir a hacer una compra vía Internet. Hace unas semanas, la web europea de Nars dejó los gastos de envío gratuitos, así que os podéis imaginar lo que pasó...


El envío fue rapidísimo, tardó unos 3 días en llegar a casa. La experiencia de compra en esta web fue muy buena, por lo que os recomiendo las compras en ella.

My ears perk up whenever I hear these two little words: "Free shipping". A few weeks ago,  Nars was generous enough to offer free shipping, so you can imagine what happened...


The shipping was incredibly fast, my ordered took only 3 days to get home. My shopping experience was great overall, so I really recommend this website.


Well, let´s get straight to the point :)

Pedí el set Makeup your mind: Set Cheeks (72€): mi tía quería el múltiple Copacabana, yo necesitaba comprar unos Laguna nuevos y también me gustaba el dúo de coloretes (¡una chica nunca tiene suficientes coloretes!), así que dividimos el precio y ella se quedó con el múltiple.


I purchased the Makeup your mind: Set Cheeks (72€): my aunt wanted the Copacabana multiple, I needed a new Laguna bronzer and I also liked this blusher duo (a girl can never have enough blushes, ya know), so we split up the price and she kept the multiple for her.

Laguna bronzer

Llevo usando este polvo bronceador unos 5 ó 6 años, así que podéis comprobar que es mi favorito de todos los tiempos.

Laguna es el polvo bronceador más claro que Nars ofrece, un tono caramelo con un ligero reflejo dorado (no deja brilli-brilli en la piel). Se difumina muy bien y da un tono ligeramente bronceado súper natural. Es perfecto para el día y la noche y lo uso durante todo el año, tanto en invierno como en verano.

Lo aplico con la 109 de MAC o con la brocha de polvos de Real Techniques, marcando los pómulos y subiendo por las sienes. También pongo un poco en nariz y barbilla.

Este bronceador va bien para pieles claras-medias, así que si tu tono de piel es más oscuro, Casino funcionará mejor para ti.

I´ve been using this bronzer for 5-6 years, so you can tell it´s my all time fave.

Laguna is a brown shade with a gorgeous golden sheen. It blends really evenly and gives me a lovely sunkissed glow, super-duper natural!! It´s perfect for day and night and works year round for me.

I apply this using my MAC #109 brush or my Real Techniques powder brush under my cheekbones and sides of temples. I sweep a little bit across my nose and chin as well.

This bronzer is only noticeable in fair to medium skintones, so keep that in mind: if you´re darker skintone, you should go for Casino bronzer instead.

Orgasm/Angelika blush duo

A pesar de que ya tengo el colorete Orgasm, este dúo de coloretes me pareció una buena compra, porque no tengo Angelika y encuentro este dúo muy útil para llevar de viaje.

Orgasm fue mi primer colorete de Nars, y ya he tocado fondo (¡de hecho tiene un agujero bastante considerable ya!) así que no me sobra tener otro de repuesto. Me encanta el tono rosa/melocotón con shimmer dorado que tiene, y queda genial combinado con los Laguna.

Angelika es un rosa bebé con glitter bastante visible a simple vista, pero no hay que tener miedo a este colorete, porque el glitter desaparece al aplicar el colorete. Es un color monísimo y muy femenino, y lo estoy usando un montón.

Despite already having Orgasm I wanted this blusher duo because I didn´t have Angelika, and I thought this duo is very convenient for travelling.

Orgasm was my very first Nars blush, and I´ve already hit pan on it, so it´s nice having a back up in my stash. I love its peachy-pink colour with golden shimmer, and it looks gorgeous paired with Laguna bronzer.

Angelika is a baby pink shade with noticeable glitter in it, but don´t be afraid, because the glitter disappear once applied on the cheek. This shade is very cute and girly, and I´m wearing it a lot lately!
