Ya que el verano está llegando a su fin (aunque bueno, el verano es una estación inexistente aquí en Irlanda...), he decidido hacer el tag Most worn things que tanto se está viendo en Youtube durante las últimas semanas.

Since summer is almost over (although we didn´t get any summer here in Ireland...), I´ve decided to do the Most worn things tag that I´ve been seeing in loads of Youtube videos.

Esmalte de uñas más usado // Most worn nail polish

Suelo cambiar de color cada semana (rara vez uso el mismo tono un par de semanas seguidas), pero este verano he repetido bastantes veces con estos dos esmaltes: el #336 de Kiko y el Olé Caliente de Essie. ¡Me encantan los tonos divertidos y llamativos en las uñas!

I usually switch up my nail polish every week, but this summer I´ve been using quite a bit these two shades: #336 by Kiko and Olé Caliente by Essie. I really like wearing bright and fun colours on my nails!

Producto capilar más usado // Most worn hair product

Definitivamente, no puedo vivir sin laca... suelo hacerme ondas con la plancha todos los fines de semana y esto ayuda a que duren bastante tiempo y no se deshagan nada más salir de casa. Eso si, ¡el olor no es lo mejorcito!

Cannot live without hairspray... I curl my hair every weekend and this keeps my curls in place without getting crunchy. The smell isn´t the best though!

Bolso más usado // Most worn bag

Mi madre me regaló este bolso en mi pasado cumpleaños y básicamente, no me lo he quitado de encima. Es un bolso mediano de bandolera en color cuero, bastante espacioso y cómodo de llevar.

Normalmente uso este estilo de bolsos, ¡así que estoy convencida de que también lo voy a usar muchísimo durante el invierno!

My mom got me this bag for my last birthday and I´ve been wearing it to death. It´s  a medium-sized crossbody bag in a lovely tan shade, very spacious and comfy.

I usually wear this style of bags and I´m sure I´ll be wearing it loads in the winter too!

Zapatos más usados // Most worn shoes

Vale, ya lo sé... éstos no son los zapatos más veraniegos del mundo, pero qué queréis que os diga, para mi no hace la temperatura adecuada para llevar sandalias. Y tampoco son las bailarinas más originales del mundo (clásicas de piel de toda la vida, en azul marino muy oscuro), ¡pero van prácticamente con todo!

Ok, I know... this isn´t the most summery kind of shoe but over here it´s too cold to wear sandals!! And these aren´t the most exciting pair of ballet flats either (dark navy leather), but they go with almost everything!

Accesorios más usados // Most worn accessories

Estoy oficialmente obsesionada con este collar de Sfera. ¡Es tan colorido, alegre y femenino que no puedo dejar de usarlo!

I adore this necklace from Sfera. It´s so colourful, fun and girly that I can´t stop wearing it!!

Prenda de vestir más usada // Most worn clothing item

¡No tengo ninguna duda de que ésta es mi prenda de ropa más usada del verano!

Es un top con encaje (si, estoy bastante obsesionada con el encaje últimamente...) de H & M, ¡es taaan bonita! Normalmente la combino con alguna falda o shorts, y algún collar grande, como el de Sfera ;)

Definitely this is my most worn clothing item, I have no doubt about it! 

It´s a lacey (yes, I´m  totally obsessed with lace...) top from H & M... so pretty!!! I usually pair this top with a flowy skirt or shorts and a statement necklace (like the Sfera one!)

Base de maquillaje más usada // Most worn foundation

Menuda sorpresa, ¿eh? Jaja! Ha sido mi base más usada durante este verano y me arriesgaría a decir que mi favorita de todos los tiempos (hasta el momento). 

Hice una review hace un par de meses, así que si no la habéis echado un vistazo ya, os animo a que lo hagáis ahora ;)

What a surprise! haha! This is my most used foundation and probably my all-time favourite. I did a review on this product a couple months ago, so go and check it out!

Colorete y bronzer más usados // Most worn blush and bronzer

Imagino que ya sabéis cuánto me gustan los productos de Nars, en concreto éstos dos: el bronzer Laguna y el colorete Orgasm. Dan un aspecto muy bonito y saludable a la piel y son la combinación perfecta para cualquier look.

I guess you know already how much I love Nars products, and these are my favourite items: Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush. They give me such a nice glow and they look amazing together!

Producto labial más usado // Most worn lip product

Ésta es una pregunta difícil, ya que cambio de labial prácticamente a diario, pero diría que he usado mucho el Benetint de Benefit, con un poco de bálsamo labial por encima... ¡una opción rápida y que da un aspecto muy natural!

Umm... this is a difficult one! I change my lip product almost everyday, but I guess I´ve been wearing Benetint quite a lot, specially with some lipbalm on top... such a quick and natural looking choice!

Máscara de pestañas más usada // Most worn mascara

Hace unos meses conseguí esta muestra de la High Impact de Clinique con una revista, y me he enamorado totalmente. Esta máscara da un montón de definición, volumen y longitud extra a mis pestañas, ¡así que estoy convencida de que compraré el tamaño venta muy pronto!

I got this sample size with a magazine a few months ago and I´ve fallen in love with it! The Clinique High Impact mascara gives me lots of definition, volume and extra length, so I´ll purchase the full size for sure!

Sombra de ojos más usada // Most worn eyeshadow

A pesar de que he estado usando muchísimo la Naked 2 de Urban Decay, siempre recurro a la Satin Taupe de MAC cuando quiero hacerme un look neutro. Probablemente, éste es el look que más he usado este verano (click aquí) ♥

Although I got a lot of use out of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, Satin Taupe by MAC is always my first choice when it comes to neutrals. My favourite look is probably this one ♥

NOTD Iced Latte

¡¡Hola chicas!!

Hoy os enseño este esmalte de la línea Nude Glam de Essence: Iced Latte. Es un nude rosado muy pálido que se parece bastante al Fiji de Essie, tan de moda. Me encanta este tono, ¡hace las manos más morenitas!

Hi guys!!

Today I´m wearing Essence Nude Glam Iced Latte, which is a very pale pinkish nude, quite similar to Essie´s Fiji. I love this shade and it makes my hands look very tan!

Por otro lado, la fórmula es terrible... me hicieron falta tres capas... ¡¡¡tres!!! Y al día siguiente ya se me había saltado el esmalte en muchas uñas, lo cual no me hace mucha gracia. Ya lo sé, no le puedo pedir más a un esmalte tan barato, pero tengo un montón de esmaltes de la marca, y al menos me han durado 3 días perfectos en las uñas.

In the other hand, the formula is a pain in the ass... it took three coats... three!!! And it chipped the day after, which doesn´t make me really happy. I know, Essence´s nail polishes are very cheap, but I´ve used them before and I had perfect manicured nails for at least 3 days.

Y como os habréis dado cuenta, la línea Colour & Go de Essence ha cambiado un poco: el packaging ha sido re-diseñado y la forma del pincel también es diferente.

As you may have noticed, Essence´s Colour & Go line have changed a little: the bottles have been re-designed and the brush had changed as well.

¡¡Hola chicas!!

¡Ya estoy de vuelta! Como ya os comenté en FB, he estado bastante liada (bueno, las aguas no han vuelto a su cauce aún xD pero echaba un montón de menos el blog) y no tenía suficiente tiempo para escribir. Pero aquí estoy de nuevo, y este mes me he propuesto escribir un post para cada día del mes... ¿lo conseguiré?

Así que, para empezar, os traigo mis favoritos del mes de agosto :)

I´m back! I needed a break because a lot of things were going on (well, my life still a mess xD but I missed blogging so much!) and I didn´t have enough time to blog. But here I am again, and this month I´m gonna challenge myself, writing a blogpost for every single day of this month, yay!

So, like every month, I have some favourites to share with you :)

MAQUILLAJE // MAKEUP

1) NARS Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base.

Esta prebase para sombras es cara, pero merece la pena porque funciona a la perfección (y lo dice una con párpados muy grasos). Se necesita muy poca cantidad, y seca muy rápidamente, proporcionando una base ideal para que las sombras duren horas y horas.

Mi única pega es el envase... ni se ve lo que queda, ni es fácil de aprovechar todo lo que queda dentro cuando se está terminando

2) MAC Nicki Minaj Viva Glam lipstick + BOOTS Hello Kitty lipgloss en el tono Natural

Me ha costado Dios y ayuda conseguir este labial (al final me hice con él hace un par de meses  gracias a una bloguera que lo vendía, y he tenido que esperar a que mi madre me mandase un paquete con cosas para tenerlo en mis manos), ¡pero por fin lo tengo!

Eso si, no voy a mentir, aplicado por si sólo no es que quede demasiado bien, pero he dado con la combinación perfecta para hacerlo llevable (¡y me encanta!). Para ello aplico poca cantidad en el centro de los labios y después aplico este gloss de Boots que me regaló una amiga, extendiendo el labial al mismo tiempo.

3) BENEFIT The Porefessional primer.

Conseguí esta muestra con la Glamour UK de hace un par de meses, y este mes la he sacado del fondo del cajón para darle algo más de uso. Me gusta mucho el acabado que le da a la piel , dejándola matificada, lisa y con los poros más pequeños.

De todas maneras, la textura no me apasiona demasiado, ya que es un poco siliconada y en ese aspecto me recuerda demasiado al primer de Sephora, que es horripilante.

1) NARS Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base.

This eyeshadow primer is expensive, but it´s worth it because it works beautifully (and I have super oily eyelids!). My eye makeup stays creaseless all day long and it dries very quicky one applied.

The only complain is the packaging... I wish it was a squeeze tube!!

2) MAC Nicki Minaj Viva Glam lipstick + BOOTS Hello Kitty lipgloss in Natural

It took me ages to get my hands on this lipstick, but I finally got it!! To be honest, this is not the most flattering lipstick, but it looks amazing when you apply a little bit and then you add some lipgloss on top (specially with this lipgloss from Boots, which is a lovely muted pink).

3) BENEFIT The Porefessional primer.

I got this sample size with a Glamour magazine and I´ve been using it loads this month.  It minimizes the look of pores and makes my foundation sit nicely on the skin.

However, I´m not a big fan of the texture and consistency, as it feels a bit silicone-y.

SKINCARE & HAIRCARE

4 & 5) VO5 Gloss me Smoothly champú & Give me Texture style spray.

He estado probando nuevos productos capilares estas últimas semanas y éstos son mis favoritos del momento.

Cuando descubrí esta marca en Boots, el primer producto que compré fue el champú. Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue el packaging rosa, tan bonito y cuidado, y además, el producto en sí es una maravilla (¡y nada caro!): me deja el pelo súper suave y manejable, además de brillante, sano y con un aroma buenísimo.

Un par de semanas después, compré el spray de peinado Give me texture, que también me gusta mucho. Lo uso tanto con el pelo seco como húmedo, para crear ondas naturales. Eso si, como todo producto de peinado y/o fijación, hay que tener cuidado de no aplicar demasiado.

6) AVÈNE Agua Termal.

Este mes llegó una mini ola de calor a Irlanda, y este producto me ha venido de maravilla después de pasar unas cuantas horas al sol en la playa. Calma y refresca la piel, ¡y no puede faltar en mi casa!

4 & 5) VO5 Gloss me Smoothly shampoo & Give me Texture style spray.

I´ve been trying out new hair products lately and these two are my favourites at the moment. 

I discovered this brand at Boots and the first item I picked up was the shampoo which is lovely. The super cute pink packaging was the first thing that caught my eye, and the product itself is fantastic (and very inexpensive!): it leaves my hair feeling extremely soft and manageable, looking glossy and healthy and smelling sooo good!

A couple of weeks after, I bought the Give me texture spray, which I really like too. I use it with dry or damp hair to create beachy waves and it works great, but you have to be very careful not to spray too much!!

6) AVÈNE Spring Thermal Water.

This month we had a few warm days here in Ireland... and this has been a great product to use after a few hours at the beach! It´s so refreshing!

I´ve been using this thermal water for years and it´s a must have in my house!!

7) Collares de PRIMARK y TOPSHOP.

Me gusta mucho la tendencia de llevar collares grandes, así que este mes compré dos nuevos, el de flores y el de pinchitos, ambos de Penneys (Primark). Son de nueva temporada, así que ya los podréis encontrar en las tiendas.

También compré en Topshop esta pequeña gargantilla con dos estrellitas, me pareció monísima y no lo pude evitar :)

7) PRIMARK and TOPSHOP necklaces.

I´m loving the statement necklace trend lately, so this month I picked up two new ones from Penneys (Primark). I also bought the little star necklace from Topshop because I thought it was really cute!

8) Glee.

Tengo una nueva obsesión llamada Glee. He estado oyendo hablar de esta serie desde que se estrenó la primera temporada hace tres años, pero no he empezado a verla hasta hace un par de semanas... ¡y me está encantando! Me ha enganchado desde el primer capítulo, en el que cantan Don´t stop believin.

8) Glee.

I have a new obsession called Glee! I´ve heard so much about this tv show over the last 3 years and I started watching it a couple weeks ago... and I love it so far! Glee had me hooked since the first episode, when they sang Don´t stop believin.

10) Días de playa.

NOTD After Eight

¡¡Hola chicas!!

Las últimas semanas he estado usando mucho colores oscuros en las uñas. Uno de mis favoritos es éste de Catrice, que se llama After Eight.

Over the lasts weeks I´ve been enjoying wearing dark colours on my nails. One of my faves is this nail polish by Catrice called After Eight.

After Eight es un verde bosque muy, muy oscuro, casi negro y de acabado metálico. Contiene  shimmer muy fino en verde y azul, lo que hace que tenga unos reflejos muy especiales. 

Creo que queda muy bonito y la fórmula es bastante buena y fácil de aplicar. En las fotos llevo 2 capas.

Y vosotras, ¿qué lleváis ahora en las uñas?

After Eight is a really dark metallic green, almost black, with green and blue particles of shimmer. It looks very chic and edgy and the formula is great, very easy to apply (I´m wearing two coats here).

H & M false pestañas postizas

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? No. Quedan preciosas, pero son muy difíciles de poner. Son muy blandengues y bailan por todas partes mientras las aplicas, así que definitivamente me quedo con Ardell.

MAC Prep+Primer Fortified Skin Enhancer Illuminateur de Teint

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? Si. Me encanta usarlo esos días en los que no me apetece nada llevar mucho maquillaje. Ilumina, difumina imperfecciones y neutraliza rojeces. ¿Quieres saber más? Echa un vistazo a esta review ;)

Murad Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? No. Es un primer que no está mal, pero definitivamente me gustan otros mucho más. De todos modos, si tu piel es tirando a seca e incluso apagada, puede que te guste.

H & M  Eau de toilette

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? Ya quisiera yo, pero ya no está en las tiendas. Me ha gustado mucho al ser una fragancia fresca y veraniega, perfecta para diario.

Sensilis Premiere Illuminating & Age Prevent day fluid/night cream

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? Puede. Después de probar unas muestras de estas cremas, me ha gustado bastante la crema de noche. Es muy rica e hidratante, pero no grasienta, así que me estoy planteando hacerme con ella :) 

Soap & Glory Flake Away exfoliante corporal

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? ¡¡¡Rotundamente si!!! Podría decir que es el mejor exfoliante corporal que he usado: deja mi piel suave e hidratada, y huele de vicio.

Bioderma Sébium agua micelar

• ¿Lo volveré a comprar? Por supuesto. Es mi agua micelar favorita (y muy difícil de conseguir aquí en Irlanda, por cierto...). Retira el maquillaje con mucha facilidad, dejando mi piel limpia y fresquita.

Y vosotras, ¿qué habéis terminado últimamente? :)

H & M false eyelashes

• ¿Re-purchase? No. They are beautiful, but they are very flimsy and difficult to apply. I  definitely prefer Ardell lashes.

MAC Prep+Primer Fortified Skin Enhancer Illuminateur de Teint

• ¿Re-purchase? Yes. I love wearing this tinted primer on days I don´t feel like wearing a full face of makeup. It illuminates and lightens up my skin, and neutralizes redness. 

Murad Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish

• ¿Re-purchase? No. It´s a nice primer, but it´s not my favourite. However, it gives a nice glow to the skin, so if your face is dull or dry, you might like it!

H & M  Eau de toilette

• ¿Re-purchase? I wish, but it was limited edition. I really enjoyed wearing this scent on a daily basis because  its scent was very summery and refreshing.

Sensilis Premiere Illuminating & Age Prevent day fluid/night cream

• ¿Re-purchase? Maybe. I really liked the night cream, it´s very rich and nourishing, but not greasy, so I´m considering getting this one!

Soap & Glory Flake Away body scrub

• ¿Re-purchase? Yes!!! This is, by far, the best body scrub I´ve ever tried. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized, and the smell... omg the smelll... is amazing!

Bioderma Sébium micellar solution

• ¿Re-purchase? Yes, it´s a fantastic micellar solution (tricky to get hold in Ireland though!!!). It removes my makeup very easily leaving my skin clean and fresh.

Hola chicas, ¿qué tal? Espero que estéis disfrutando del verano estéis donde estéis. El tiempo aquí es penoso, pero es lo que hay, es Irlanda :)

Este mes mis favoritos combinan productos que no he usado en una temporada y que he vuelto a redescubrir y otros nuevos que estoy sacando mucho partido.

This month I´ve been loving products I haven´t used in a while and also enjoying some new things.

MAQUILLAJE // MAKEUP

1) TOPSHOP Cream Blush en el tono Flush.

Este mes he estado usando mucho este colorete en crema de TopShop. Al principio no lo daba mucho uso, pero he encontrado la manera perfecta de aplicarlo (con la buffing brush de Real Techniques) y ahora me encanta.

Puede asustar al verlo a simple vista, ya que es un rosa muy llamativo, pero una vez en las mejillas, queda muy natural.

2) BENEFIT Erase Paste en el tono 02.

Hubo una temporada en la que usaba muchísimo este corrector, pero de repente, y sin razón alguna (bueno si, hay un motivo y se llama Lasting Perfection Concealer de Collection 2000) dejé de utilizarlo hace algunos meses.

Es un corrector muy bueno, pero hay que dar con la brocha perfecta para aplicarlo y que no quede demasiado artificial, ya que tiene una consistencia muy espesa. Me gusta aplicarlo usando dos brochas de Real Techniques: la pointed foundation brush para la zona de las ojeras, y la buffing brush para cualquier imperfección que pueda tener en el rostro. ¡Me encantan los resultados!

3) MAC lipstick en el tono Runaway Red.

Este mes me he sentido muy aventurera y he llevado los labios en rojo bastantes veces. Y qué queréis que os diga, me ha encantado la experiencia.

Parecerá una bobada, pero la mayoría de las veces no me siento nada cómoda llevando un labial rojo, siento que me va a mirar todo el mundo y al final acabo quitándomelo antes de salir de casa. Pero un día pensé: "¿Sabes qué? Un día te compraste esta preciosidad de labial de MAC, así que échale un par, ¡¡y úsalo!!" Y desde entonces no puedo vivir sin él #lovestory

1) TOPSHOP Cream Blush in Flush.

This month I´ve been loving this cream blusher by TopShop. It looks quite scary in the pan, but once you put it on, it gives you the most natural and beautiful pink flush (hence the name!).

I usually apply it with my buffing brush from Real Techniques.

2) BENEFIT Erase Paste in 02.

I used to love this concealer when I got it but I don´t know why (well, I know why, and the reason is called Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer :P) I stopped using it a few months ago.

It´s a great concealer, and I´ve been using two different brushes from Real Techniques to apply it: the pointed foundation brush for the undereye area and the buffing brush for any blemishes on my face. Love the results!!!!

3) MAC lipstick in Runaway Red.

This month I felt really adventurous and I wore red lipstick several times. And I loved it. 

I know this is not a big deal, but sometimes I don´t feel comfortable enough wearing red lips, I don´t know why!! But I thought: You know what? You have this stunning red lipstick by MAC, so wear it!!!!

SKINCARE & HAIRCARE

4) GARNIER Summerbody Moisturising Lotion Sun-kissed look.

Os enseñé esta hidratante bronceadora en mi último haul, y he de decir que me gusta muchísimo. Huele genial, es muy hidratante y da a la piel un tono ligeramente bronceado muy natural. Hay dos tonos, "light" y "medium", y he de decir que debería de haber comprado el "medium", pero no sabía si iba a quedar muy artificial, así que acabé comprando el tono más claro.

5) BALANCE ME Wonder Eye Cream.

Conseguí una minitalla de este contorno de ojos con la Glamour del mes pasado (versión UK) y he estado usándolo todas las noches. Tiene una textura muy agradable, ligera y de fácil absorción pero muy hidratante al mismo tiempo.


Tengo muchas ganas de probar más productos de esta marca, y al investigar un poco por la red he encontrado que están a la venta en LookFantastic.

6) L´OREAL Elnett laca.

Definitivamente, es mi laca favorita de todas las que he probado. Al venirme a Irlanda, dejé mi bote grande en mi casa de España, así que compré en Boots este bote pequeño, que viene muy bien para transportar si paso un fin de semana fuera y demás. De todas maneras, siempre sale mejor de precio comprar el tamaño grande, así que se vendrá conmigo a casa en breves.


Fija muy bien sin dejar residuos ni el pelo acartonado, y además el olor es bastante aceptable (hay lacas que apestan, ¿verdad?)

4) GARNIER Summerbody Moisturising Lotion Sun-kissed look.

I featured this in my last haul and I really, really like it. I love the scent, it´s super moisturising and gives my skin a really nice glow, but I shoud have bought the Medium one (this is the light version and I think it´s way too light for me!). However, it´s a great product!!

5) BALANCE ME Wonder Eye Cream.

I got this eye cream with last month´s issue of Glamour magazine and I´ve been using it every single night. It has a really nice texture, light but moisturising at the same time.

I really wanna try more products from this organic brand, they look fantastic! You can get Balance Me products online.

6) L´OREAL Elnett Hairspray.

This is my all time favourite hairspray. I left my big bottle in Spain so I purchased this travel size, but I´ve finished it already so I´ll ge getting a new bottle as soon as posible!

It holds very well without leaving weird residues, and the scent is quite decent (some hairsprays smell horrible, don´t you think?).

7) ALL STAR Converse "Anchor Print".

Me encantan las Converse y siempre estoy buscando estampados originales, así que cuando vi este modelo no me pude resistir. ¡¡Son taaaaan bonitas!!

I love Converse, and I´m always looking for unusual prints, so I fell in love instantly when I saw this pair. Love them!!!

8) Ice Age 4: La formación de los continentes.

Aunque me gustaron mucho las películas anteriores, no tenía muchas expectativas con ésta, pero terminé pasándomelo genial en el cine... ¡es súper divertida! La recomiendo sin lugar a dudas :)

8) Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.

Although I loved the previous movies I didn´t expect anything spectacular about this one, but I ended up having a great time at the cinema. It was so funny!!! I really recommend it!

Cuando compro online suelo buscar en Google si hay cupones descuento para determinadas webs, y hasta ahora sólo había encontrado webs en inglés que recopilan códigos para diversas páginas.
